Omaha, Nebraska - NP Dodge Real Estate today held a Veteran Appreciation Breakfast for local and Sarpy office veterans at 4912 Shannon Dr., Papillion. Twenty-one veterans, special guests and NP Dodge agents and staff attended the event. It started with a breakfast provided by Cobalt Credit Union and a welcome given by Jerry Vogel, Broker Manager of the NP Dodge Sarpy sales office, to all who attended.
Dean Mathisen on behalf of Brigadier General (U.S. Representative) Don Bacon, gave a short speech and Duan Rockette, 1stSgt USMC, (Retired) now Managing Broker for the 204Dodge office, asked the Air Force Color Guard to post colors. Duan went on to talk about the service, support and programs for veterans that NP Dodge feels so strongly about. The special event included a message from Sue Mohr with Cobalt Credit Union, challenge coins given to each veteran and a viewing of the new Veteran Wall placed in that office of NP Dodge Sarpy related veterans.
The morning ceremony ended with each veteran introducing themselves, the folding of the flag by the Air Force Color Guard and the reverent playing of taps.
